Firepower and waterpower electricity making
1. Firepower electricity making
In order to promote the thermal efficiency of the boiler in heat engine plant, enlarging the equipments and increasing the temperature and pressure for the steam condition are the certain developing direction. Presently, the subcritical and supercritical boiler are industrialized, the applied material for superheat steel pipe can no longer satisfy the requirements, and austenite stainless steel with good hot strength like the 0Cr18Ni10Ti and 0Cr17Ni12Mo2 shall be regarded as new materials.
2. Waterpower electricity making
The impeller of water turbine for Waterpower is usually made of stainless steel, in the early days the casting form were mostly used, as the water turbine developed toward big capacity and high fall, in order to improve the performance of the impeller, now forged products are in use, and the steel type has changed from the Cr13 type in early days to the 00Cr13Ni5Mo steel with good welding quality, and the use of stainless steel for water turbine impeller is shown in the following table. Besides, some anti-corrosion and anti-abrasion components in waterpower plant have been successfully used the 0Cr18Ni9N (304N) and 2205 double phase steel clad plate.
